Oil And Natural Gas
Oil and gas account for 41 percent of India’s energy consumption. The sustained economic growth in the country over the last five years has led to concurrent growth in energy demand across industrial, transportation and commercial sectors. The government has permitted 100 percent FDI in almost all areas of oil and gas sector that includes exploration and production (E&P), oil marketing, refining, and oil product pipelines.
